the workshops at our university are cleaning up for christmas and that means a lot of stuff gets thrown away. if you're lucky, you can find hidden treasures within all the rubbish.one piece that stuck out was a big cut of cotton wood tree.it had coffee table written all over it. i sanded it, made four legs and gave it 2 coats of varnish. i'm very happy with my new table.
